ACMI tansimission system uses 45 degree screw gears. One driven unit serves a group of two or three kiln sections. Each is equipped with one speed reducer. One or several reducers from a driven section, equipped with one inverter to adjust the speed. Each transmission motor has a local control panel with three buttons; stop,run and swing. This enables both local and remote control between any location and the electrical cabinet, It has a shuttle-swing function. If malfunction occurs in any section, the rollers ahead of the malfunction point swing to and fro, while the rollers behind the problem spot can continue to move the tiles out of the kiln. The whole driven system is simple, stable and reliable.
